Breakfast Smoothie with Oats and Goji berries

IMG_8304 Here is a fiberlicious dairy-free breakfast smoothie recipe that I’ve created a couple of days ago. This smoothie is a the perfect way to start off your day, it provides you with strength and energy that will carry you through the hectic morning schedule.

Ingredients to blend:

Soaked overnight rolled oats, Pre-soaked in coconut water goji berries, Cultured Coconut Milk with a taste of Vanilla, Banana.

Smoothie Special Health Benefits:

Rolled Oats:  Oats contain a specific type of fiber known as beta-glucan which aids your system fighting high cholesterol levels. Eating high in fiber oats helps prevent heart disease. Oats are rich in antioxidants, enhance immune response to infection, stabilize blood sugar, and lower Type 2 diabetes risk. Goji Berries: In early days these berries were used in Chinese medicine, and they are a great superfood packed with antioxidants. Incorporating goji berries in your diet boosts your immune system and protects the eyes.  Goji berries are loaded with beta-carotene which helps promote healthy skin. Cultured Coconut Milk: It’s dairy-free and packed with calcium and fiber.
