Raspberry Detox Water

Homemade detox water is excellent for your morning cleansing routine! It is a great way to boost your metabolism, keep you hydrated, rid your body of nasty toxic chemicals, and burn your fat. I also drink mine during and after my Bikram Yoga class, a perfect time to flush those harmful toxins out of my body.

Drinking plain water daily in the morning, before having your breakfast is a way to help flush the body of toxins. But plain water is boring:) Try to add a few simple ingredients and your water will be transformed into a health-beneficial tasty detox drink.  And the best part is that detox water is very easy to make!



Fresh Raspberry, Fresh Lime, Fresh Lemon, Fresh Mint, Filtered Water. Add whole or previously muddled ingredients into a pitcher, pour water, give it just a light stir and allow them to sit in the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight for optimal results.

Raspberries: Rich source of health promoting nutrients, minerals, and vitamins that are essential for optimum health. Contain good amount of dietary fiber, niacin, riboflavin, folic acid, Vitamins C, A, E, K and B-complex group of vitamins. The antioxidant compounds in these berries play potential role against cancer, aging, inflammation, and neuro-degenerative diseases.

Limes and Lemons have wonderful detox properties, they help to flush out toxins from your digestive tract and keep them from building up.

Mint: Mint is a glorious ancient herb. It sweetens your drink without adding sugar and aids in digestion, it soothes your tummy.  The healing properties of peppermint are to relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, including indigestion, dyspepsia, and colonic muscle spasms.  Peppermint is a good source of traditional nutrients, like manganese, copper, and vitamin C.
